Seven Deadly Sins

     MEIKO entered the library with a slam of the doors. "You do know that proper women read more then you do..." MEIKO could not believe that Luka would say something like that to her. They were good friends and Luka never spoke like that to anyone in the Vocaloid Mansion. Luka was kind and looked out for everyone, whatever made her say what she said definitely must have been pent up from various little annoyances that day. MEIKO decided to prove her wrong anyway by reading several books in the Vocaloid Library. She walked along noticing various Vocaloid friends reading at the tables and on the sofas. She especially noticed Neru, who was reading a book titled "How to Win Your Man". "Poor Len," MEIKO thought to herself as she passed the table continuing through the endless shelves of books. She suddenly stopped at a point near a section of shelf titled "Evil Stories" and felt drawn to them. Seven of them stood out to her and she picked them out to read.

    "I'm worried about MEIKO... you guys! This is urgent!" Miku and the twins were walking down the hallway towards the cafe. "Relax Miku," Rin said, "She must be recuperating from a hangover or something." This sounded logical to Miku, but MEIKO usually got over hangovers quickly. "Maybe..." Len started to say, "...she is just taking time in her room to do whatever MEIKO's do in their free time." "Len... that made no sense. I feel like you just destroyed a few of my brain cells as well as your own." Rin was trying to instigate Len, and it worked. "Just you wait. I am so going to destroy you." Len ran after Rin, who by now had made it to cafe by now. "WAIT!" Miku still wanted to talk about the problem, but found that no one was going to listen to her. She knew what she must do now, she slowly walked down the hall humming to herself World's End Dancehall. She needed Luka for it but there was no time for that.

    MEIKO was just finishing off the red book and found herself very perplexed by what she read. The story was about a woman who ate people and ended up eating herself in the end. MEIKO went to grab the large yellow book and was interrupted by the door opening. Miku ran in and nearly tripped over an empty sake bottle. "There you are MEIKO-senpai! I have been looking all over for you. What is that in your hands?" Miku bombarded the brown haired girl and MEIKO had no clue what to start with. "This? It is just a book I found. I found it with seven other books in the library and just had to read them." "That sound super. What are the books about?" MEIKO thought for a few minutes on how to answer this. "Well... you see... these books are hard to explain in words. You can join me in reading them if you want to." Miku agreed and sat down grabbing the pink book and started to read.

    Miku finished that book and another one before MEIKO finished that one book. The two she read were pretty strange and the stories were dark. The pink one involved a woman who murdered a family just because she went mad with jealousy. The purple one was about a duke in a far off land who made a deal with the devil to make him irresistable to all women, eventually leading himself to his own downfall. When MEIKO finished the yellow book she asked, "Well... what do you think?" "Well," Miku began, "They are very interesting... but aren't they a little bizarre?" MEIKO agreed with her then said, "They are weird, but for some reason... I don't know. They just remind me of something that happened long ago." MEIKO noticed something about the yellow book on her lap. There were more pages she hadn't read. "Hold on Miku. I have to finish these pages." She turned to the page she left off on and then turned to the next to find a picture. Her face whitened and she looked shocked at what she saw. "Hey Miku... could you look at this for me?" Miku walked over and looked at the picture and looked very shocked at what she saw as well. In the middle of the picture was a princess, and she a lot like someone she knew. "Do these people look like anyone you know?" MEIKO wanted to see if Miku would agree with her on the weird people in the picture. "Well... the one in the middle looks like..." she was interrupted by the door being slammed open. Rin and Dell were standing there when Rin exclaimed, "There you are! Get up, we have a meeting to attend to." "What meeting?" Miku asked. "Just a meeting about next months Vocaloid Collaboration Extravaganza (VCE), and we can't have a meeting without all Vocaloid and Vocaloid 2 there." "What about Vocaloid 3?" MEIKO heard earlier that month that some new Vocaloids were on their way to the mansion. "Well, they can come if they are here." Dell answered MEIKO's question quirky. With nothing else said, Rin and Dell ran off holding hands. "We will talk about this picture later when we have time." Miku nodded in agreement to MEIKO's plan and the two girls left the room debating whether or not Rin and Dell would be going out soon.
