When Fur Flies: Chapter 3Suddenly, Láng awoke from his coma like state and was greeted by a very tight hug from his brother. "Lýkos. . .please let go, I can barely breathe with you constricting me!" "Sorry little brother, I was just worried for you. . . I mean, you were like that for a few hours and I was really thought that you would be like that forever!" He held on to his brother for another minute or two before Láng started to struggle out of the death grip. "I'm fine. . . really I am, now please let go of me!" Lýkos let go of him and started to relax a little. "Now. . . tell me what exactly happened before and during this sort of coma you were in."
After an hour of explaining what had happened during this coma, both brothers had decided to get something to eat and then continue on this situation because by now, both had grown very hungry from lack of food. Walking into the kitchen, the wolves moved towards the ice closet in search of some meat to eat. Upon finding some, they
When Fur Flies: Chapter 2"Lýkos why did you have to get me home by swinging from vines like some gorilla," Láng exclaimed while trying to balance himself, "you know that it makes me sick to my stomach!" "I know but it was the only way to get you out of there " Lýkos said, "And besides that point, you know it was fun." "No it was not and next time please do not grab me so tightly around the stomach, I could barely breathe!" "So sorry about that," Lýkos said. The two brothers walked through the house until they were in a private weapon forge. At the center stood a tall white marble statue of the wolf goddess, Okami. Around her stood several tables covered in tools and unfinished projects that the brothers never finished. "It has been ages since I have stood in this room," Lýkos said, "It brings back good memories and bad memories. "I wonder what he means by bad memories," Láng thought to himself before saying, "Hey Lýkos what do you mean by bad memories a
When Fur Flies: Chapter 1At lunch, everything appeared to be normal for the first few minutes. Láng had just sat down with some of his other wolf friends and started to converse about the lessons that had gone on up until lunch. The subject mostly stuck to the history lecture on the Pokemon wars which was the talk of the school for everyone. "So, I heard from my old man that some pokemon ships have been seen around the border last week," one of Láng's friends, Renaldo, exclaimed to their group as they sat down. "I know as well," another said, "They say that those ships happened to be warships." "Well, as long as they stay far away from the silver palace at the heart of the nation, then we are safe for now," Láng said right before taking a chunk out of some meat. Suddenly, the girl of Láng's dreams, Lupo, walked by to sit with her friends. Láng stared at her as she walked away wanting nothing more then to hold her close. "Hey here is an idea," Renaldo started to say." Why don't yo
When Fur Flies: Prologue Once in a land far away, there lived different races of beings all sharing one planet. These people were of all shapes and sizes and always had different views on situations. Our story begins with one young wolf who throughout his adventures, will come to understand the world around him.
On one ordinary morning like no other, Láng the wolf had awoken to an empty house. "Brother must have gone out to hunt with the rest of the pack today..." Láng thought to himself as he got out of bed. He yawned and stretched to wake up and then he scratched his belly before he set out to get ready for school. He had always been a little on the round and soft side but never really cared until about a year ago when he started to have interests in finding a mate of the opposite sex. Since then he has been a little embarrassed and tried to hide himself wh
You Were Not An Aquarium BoySea-glass became your bones,
brine your blood, and seashells
melded into your skin.
You were not quite an ocean
when you said "This is your sign to love me."
My body was like a building;
tall, cold, almost unbreakable.
I was metallic and sharp,
towering over your waters.
I remember taking your hand in mine,
conch and coral shells scrubbing
my skyscraper wrists, and laughing
about how one day you would
submerge every last bit of me.
Your lips, riddled with argonauts,
found my cheek and I cringed
at the coarseness.
You asked if they bothered me
and I finally told you "I
think I love you."
